The Twilight Series and Breaking Dawn

April 13, 2012

The Twilight Saga is a best-selling series by Author Stephanie Meyer. I am sure you have heard of it before, as the Movies based on the books took the world by storm and the Twilight Phenomena began. I have read all of the Twilight Books and seen all of the movies except for Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2 which is to be released later this year. So as you can see I am a Twi-heart and 100% Team Edward who is played by Robert Pattinson in the movies.

The Twilight Saga is about a girl named Bella Swan who moves to a small town called Forks to stay with her Father.  Letting her Mother travel with her New Husband. When she arrives she finds her self memorised with a mysterious, strange yet charming boy named Edward. Who is part of the Cullen Clan. As she finds herself closer to Edward and he's family she realises they may be more different then originally thought. He's a Vampire, he warns her to stay away from him assuring her that he's only going to get Bella killed. Not intentionally but because of his hunger for her blood. Though Bella believes that she will be fine as long she's with him. As time goes on True love forms among other things, she finds herself in danger by Vampire Clans, She learns that her best Friend Jacob is a Werewolf and that he feels for her. Maybe things would be better if she was a vampire.

The Twilight Saga is utterly amazing and my favourite series. I was so engrossed and just didn't want it to end. And no, not just because Edward is utterly perfect and the man of my dreams. Played by the amazing Robert Pattinson. Well that did give me enjoyment...... Anyhow, how can you not fall in love with this series.

You feel like you are the characters in the story. I never knew Vampires could be so cool let alone attractive. I read all of them and it's the best series ever. There are four book all which have been turned into best-selling movies.

Breaking Dawn is the last book in the series and the longest needing to be split into 2 parts to form a movie. In my opinion it's also the best. So much happens and its so hard to put down. Everyone has been waiting for certain things and transformations and Breaking Dawn has it all. It opens up and closes a whole new chapter. It leaves you wanting more. I read 754 pages in a weekend because it was so hard to put down. I really recommend it. Probably for ages 10 or 11 and up to about 20. It's got an element of just about everything. The movies are also great. My least favourite book was New Moon.

You have to read The Twilight Saga. I know theres a percentage of people who look at Twilight as a corny chick flick with vampires. But seriously even my sister couldn't pretend for long. There's a place in everyone's heart for twilight. And the boys are just jealous that Edward is the man they could never be. Or that they don't have Jacobs abs. I mean 1000's girls prefer them (2 fictional characters aka Edward and Jacob), more than them (the dweebs in our class that just simply don't understand). Does that make sense? Well if you don't understand read the books, watch the movie and then you will.
