Hi Guys,
Over the past 3 weeks or so I have collected a really cool haul that I'm quite excited to share with you. At this point my TBR pile has grown very large and it's probably wise for me to go on a book ban. No promises because as shown from my previous efforts, I'm not very good at them. What can I say, the temptation is just too strong. But I'll have these books to read and they are quite a diverse bunch so I can't wait to get cracking into them.

Review Books:

Thrown of Glass and Crown of Midnight by SJ Mass: Thank you Bloomsbury, I'm so excited to start these and my reviews will be posted shortly.

Every Breath by Ellie Marney: I love a good YA Aussie Lit, they are like a rare breed these days and it looks very promising. Thank you Allen & Unwin for my very own review copy.

Bought:

Ketchup Clouds by Annabel Pitcher: Read my review here, where I rated it 4.5 Stars.

Glass Houses by Rachel Caine: I only got this for $4 so I couldn't miss the opportunity to grab it as I've heard a lot of good things about the series.

Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt: This was also at a great price and I'm really intrigued by the whole no technology aspect of this novel so it should be good.

The Distance Between Us by Kasie West: I bought this and Unravel Me today with a voucher and I'm so excited to read them. TDBU sounds like something i'd love and I really liked the first chapter and now I'm really tempted to read it.

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi: I really liked book one and I've heard this one is even more heartbreaking so I'm really excited to hear all about this book 2 mayhem. My friend just read it and by the sounds of it, I'm in for a ride.

Borrowed:

City of Fallen Angels & City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare: I'm on book 5 and holy City of Bones. Do I need to say more...

Where She Went by Gayle Forman: While I had a mixed but eventually pleasant experience with If I Stay, I'm really curious about what's going to happen next.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and The Weight of Water by Sarah Crossan: My friend was kind enough to lend me these two lovelies and I'm excited to see what it's all about.

Won:

Infinte Sky by CJ Flood: Yay my first international book giveaway win. Thank you to Nayuleska for holding this wonderful giveaway on her blog, Nayu's Reading Corner.

Freebies:

The Rain Queen by Katherine Scholes and Just Three for Free by Andy Griffiths: Gotta love Books Kino who gave me these free books.

What did you get this week?

  7. You got so many amazing books! I loved The Distance Between Us, Unravel Me, and Going Vintage. And I cannot wait for Crown of Midnight--Throne of Glass was so good! I just recently started reading The Morganville Vampire series, it's good, but just be prepared for cliffhangers for every book. And not just normal cliffhangers, but in the middle of the scene cliffhangers, which is a bit annoying. And the TMI series just keeps getting better and better! Have fun reading! ~Pam

  10. I've only read a Going Vintage and Perks, both of which I thought were okay, but you got so many that I really want to read sometime soon, especially Throne of Glass! (which I BARELY started before I had to put it aside to work on stuff for school, GRRR) I've heard tons of great things about TDBU, and I'm absolutely DYING to read Unravel Me. My only motivation for finishing homework is that after, I'll be able to read again! EEEP. Enjoy your books and happy reading :)

  13. I really really hope you enjoy Where She Went! I liked If I Stay but it didn't blow me away, what did was Adam and the fact that Forman wrote this book in his POV really made this book. It's one of my favourites so I hope you enjoy haha! I got really excited when I saw it in your haul! I'm also really looking forward to Crown of Midnight, love those cover :)

  17. Woahhhh Sunny that is a darn nice haul!

Eeep Bloomsbury sent you finished copies of ToG and CoM so lucky! Love love LOVE that series so much and glad you liked them too (:

I really need to get my hands on Every Breath, all the YA bloggers have it and I'm so interested now.

TDBU is AMAZING. Kasie West is an amazing writer and she writes sarcasm for her MC so well! Unravel me CHAPTER 62 OHMYGOODNESS. Team Warner <3 but I hate that Aussie cover :(

I'm up to book 5 of TMI too but I'm not sure I want to read it, I really didn't like CoFA :/

And gahhhh WHERE SHE WENT! ADAM ADAM ADAM! If I Stay was painful - if you want to think about If I Stay as the damage, Where She Went is almost the redemption/healing process. It's beautiful and one of my favourite books ever.

    I bought Perks and I've been meaning to get around to it. Maybe we should do a readalong some time (;

    Enjoy all these lovely books.

  25. I need to try Throne of Glass . . . I feel like I'm missing out on an amazing series. There are some pretty awesome books you recently got. :)

  26. I LOVED Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight! S J. Maas is one of my favourite writers and Celaena is one of my favourite female heroines. In Crown of Midnight I love how you get to see a different side to her, and find out much more about her. Be prepared, the ending is a huge shock.

And I've seen Going Vintage at my local bookstore a few times now, and am looking forward to reading it. That cover is gorgeous!

  27. WOW! You have lots of great books. Throne of Glass is awesome, and The Weight of Water looks brilliant. The US cover for Unravel Me is SO different from the Aussie cover, I didn't recognize it until I looked at the caption. Have fun with your books, Sunny!
