☆New Look and 100+ Followers☆

April 18, 2013

Hello,
Have you noticed? I have been making some changes bit by bit to my blog's look over the past month and i'm really thrilled with the outcome. My first issue was my sidebar that was a bit scattered and disorganised so I decided to give it some new graphics and change it to one column. Now my sidebar has some scrolling blog buttons (click here for tutorial) for some really cool book blogs, some social media icons (click here for tutorial) and a lovely blog button to put on your blog which I will talk to you about later. Next was probably one of my longest problems which was my fonts. The past 6 months at least I haven't been able to change anything in the blogger template editor including my old font that I was getting a bit sick of. As if a miracle I pressed some random buttons and was miraculously able to change my font, whipee.
But I think the coolest change where some wonderful new designs from the lovely Emma over at The Graphicness and Never Judge a Book by it's Cover

New Header

I love this header so much because I think it really represents my blog better then any other graphic ever has. The girl is reading in a sunny spot one of my absolute favourite reads and the pink and white look like sunlight/rays. Plus the cute spots and font. I think that Emma has done a brilliant job.

My New Blog Button

I'm really happy with my blog button that Emma also designed, now ready for swaps. I had some technical difficulties with the grab box because no matter how many tutorials and codes I used (a lot), my box would always come back empty. But finally I found a link that worked and I want to thank Ruby for giving me a link to "Grab My Button" Code Generator which actually the easiest and most efficient of sites that I came across and it actually worked. As I mentioned before, I am now doing Button Swaps, so please let me know if anyone is interested. I would really appreciate you guys putting mine on your blog. Emma was so lovely and helpful through everything and once again provided me with a great graphic.

New Stacking The Shelves Banner

I love this design and I can't wait to use it for my next STS post!

What do you think? Plz check out Emma's book blog and if you want some gorgeous free designs The Graphicness is the place to go, Thank you so much Emma.

I am really pleased to say that I have reached my goal of 100 followers. It made my day when I woke up with 98 followers and then later in the day saw I had 103. It put a huge smile on my face, I want to thank all of those great people that visit my blog, comment and follow. And now I have 106. I really wanted to reach this goal before following via GFC connect was taken down and I'm really happy that I have, thanks so much for all of your support :D
