Emma and Galen’s kingdom and their love is threatened by long-lost Syrena in the brilliant conclusion to Anna Banks bestselling trilogy. Emma, half human and half Syrena, and her Syrena love, Galen, need time together alone. Away from the kingdoms of Poseidon and Triton. Emma’s grandfather, the Poseidon king, suggests the two visit a small town called Neptune.

Neptune is home to both Syrena and Half-Breeds alike. But Emma and Galen didn’t sign up to be peacemakers between the ocean and the land-dwelling, freshwater Syrena. They didn’t bargain for meeting a charming Half-Breed named Reed, who can barely disguise his feelings for Emma. And they especially didn’t expect to find themselves in the middle of a power struggle that threatens not only their love but their ocean kingdoms.

In this stunning conclusion to her bestselling Syrena Legacy, Anna Banks thrills fans with more action and romance than ever.

Boy oh boy was I excited for Of Neptune. I adore the Syrena Legacy series, it's one of those reads you can pick up and spend all day reading. It is extremely refreshing and entertaining. For me the series is like Emma breathing a gulp of air after swimming at sea for days. Whilst I expected more, Of Neptune was a awesome conclusion and a lot of fun to read.

I really loved the storyline for Of Neptune because I feel like it tied in nicely with the plots in Of Triton and Of Poseidon. There were different things going on and characters you couldn't help be suspicious of which made it somewhat suspenseful at times. I liked the introduction of Reed, he shook things up in Galen and Emma's seemingly perfect relationship. I love them as a couple and even though it was frustrating, it was good to see them face issues within their relationship.

I managed to read this in a day during camping and it was just so fun! I was gripped in my seat (or tent) and always entertained. There were lots of plot twists and at one stage I didn't know what was going on. I wanted to see more of Rayna and Toraf and the whole gang! But I loved the parts they were in.

The ending was sweet, cute and pretty much perfect. Things wrapped up nicely but I still had some questions. I feel like conclusions should say goodbye with a bang and I think that Of Neptune didn't really lower or raise the bar. I just wanted it to me more conclusion-ey, I don't know it was missing something. But still I loved it and it was a great read, I'll be really sad to say goodbye to such a great series.

  2. I have about 70 pages left of this novel and so far I'm impressed. Gosh I missed all the characters and the humour and just the whole syrena world.

  3. Glad you enjoyed the end to a series which you loved, Sunny! Unfortunately, I couldn't get past the first book after all the ranting lol. But I do agree the writing is quite fun.

  4. So great that this ended nicely for you! I haven't read the series, but it is always so great when a series is consistently enjoyable throughout- it's a little disappointing it didn't end up being stand out, though. Great review!

  5. Keen to read this! It's interesting to think about what an ending constitutes, I will have to see when I finally read it. I think it depends on the tone of the series as to how the book should end.
